Happy Graduation!

Our Goddaughter, Shelby, is graduating high school!  We love her as if she were our own and we our so proud of her.  Shelby is also my cousin's daughter.  My grandmother (Shelby's great-grandmother) gave me her sewing machine.  My grandma rarely sews anymore, and she knew I wanted to get a machine to sew on my hand-made cards.  I thought it most appropriate to make my first sewing machine card for Shelby.

I made this card for the current challenge at Fantabulous Cricut:

#60 Try This Angle
Make a card or project using a rectangle and a triangle on it

I immediately thought of a criss-cross card when I saw this challenge.

Supplies:
Cricut cartridges:  Bloom (flowers on the belly band) & Summer in Paris (hot air balloon)
Paper:  October Afternoon "The Thrift Shop" and SU very vanilla
stamp:  Lawn Fawn

Happy Wednesday!

Jeepers, some more jeepers, with a side of jeepers, this is absolutely beautiful!! I've been staring at it for nearly a minute, and you know how long a minute is when you're paying attention!!! You did just the most gorgeous job on this!!

You and hubby are doing SO great on your cleanse, holy moly!! I'll bet it feels amazing. I am quite honestly just too scared to go back to eating the partially hydrogenated and the high fructose corn syrup, so even though I'm unemployed, we just can't go back to the old way. It didn't *feeeel* good either, ya know??!!
